The content in HOMER Reading seems too easy, how do I change the reading stage?

Keep in mind, the levels of a pathway do get harder as they progress, so we recommend trying several activities before deciding to try a different reading stage.

 On the website:

  1. Sign in.
  2. Click on your email address in the upper right corner and select "Settings."
  3. Click "edit" next to the child profile you wish to edit.
  4. Click "edit" next to the current reading stage.
  5. Click "switch to" next to the most appropriate reading stage for your child.
  6. Once you make your way back to the personalized learning pathway, your child will begin on lesson one of their new reading stage.
  7. If you use HOMER Reading on multiple devices, you may need to sign out of HOMER Reading and back in the next time you use them in order to sync these changes.

On the HOMER Reading iOS app: 

  1. Sign in.
  2. Tap the blue button in the upper left hand corner, then select the gear icon in the dropdown menu.
  3. Tap "edit" next to the child profile you wish to edit.
  4. Tap "Start Personalizing" to being updating your child's pathway.
  5. After completing this questions, you see a recommended reading stage for your child. You may tap "continue" to accept this reading stage, or tap "see all stages to" to select a different stage.
  6. Once you make your way back to the personalized learning pathway, your child will begin on lesson one of their new reading stage.
  7. If you use HOMER Reading on multiple devices, you may need to sign out of HOMER Reading and back in the next time you use them in order to sync these changes.

On the HOMER Reading Android App: 

  1. Sign in.
  2. Tap the blue button in the upper left hand corner, then select the gear icon in the dropdown menu.
