It is most beneficial if a child completes all of the Learn to Read levels in the order presented. We also recommend a child starts at the beginning of a level, and then works their way through to the end.
To keep your child on a clear track from beginning to end of the Learn to Read content, make sure you enable the "Step-by-Step Reading Path" option. This option will require learners to complete a lesson before moving on to the next.
(If you want your child to be able to freely move through Learn to Read lessons and levels, you can turn the "Step-by-Step Reading Path" option off at any time.)
You can edit this setting for each particular child. Just sign in to the Homer website, find your name in the upper right hand corner, click "Settings," and then click "Edit [Your Child's Name]" to change the setting.
