You'll need to be present to set up your child's learning pathway, and your parent account. We also find it's helpful (and fun) to explore all of HOMER with your child the first time around, so that both of you are familiar with how the program works, what the different categories are, and how your child will be learning,
HOMER's user experience experts designed the HOMER program to be intuitive and totally child-friendly, so your child will be able to use HOMER independently in no time. Keep in mind, HOMER is most effective if children repeat lessons, so you may want to remind your child to go back and practice previous lessons frequently.
