You will need to be present to set up your child's learning pathway, and your parent account. We also find it's helpful (and fun) to explore all of HOMER Reading with your child the first time around. This way both of you are familiar with how the program works, what the different categories are, and how your child will be learning,
HOMER Reading is designed to be intuitive and child-friendly, so your child will be able to use the program independently in no time. Additionally, HOMER Reading is most effective if children repeat lessons. You may want to remind your child to go back and practice previous lessons frequently.
